Stewarding

A fun and even cheaper way to experience the best student folk festival around!

Whichever university hosts IVFDF each year, many people leave after finding it the best value for money on the festival scene. It is the stewards who make the festival so special. Whether you can spare a couple hours over the weekend or 10 hours, we want to hear from you!

Stewards undertake a wide range of tasks such as checking tickets, setting up/taking down stuff for events, keeping an general eye on things, directing people, moving furniture, providing information and helping people. It's also a cheaper way to experience IVFDF, and we will do our best with scheduling to enable you to do the things you really want to do.

Fun!

Stewarding is a great way to meet people, especially if you're coming to the festival on your own, or for the first time. What's more, our wide ranging line-up and events/workshop list means you won't have to miss much either. We will make every effort to allocate you to where YOU want to be, during your shift/s.

A Cheaper Way to Get In

All stewards will be rewarded in some way or another, depending on your level of committment at the festival. You may get a free T-Shirt and/or a ticket refund, but above all everyone gets the feeling of being an integral part of the best student festival on the calendar!

If you are at all interested in stewarding/or have any questions, please contact our Stewards Co-ordinator, Katherine at krl201@ex.ac.uk
Then buy a ticket as normal - more precise details concerning how stewards will be rewarded/reimbursed will be added here soon, but rest assured your efforts will not go unnoticed - however much time you can spare!
